Our Day Lilly's

Jenn is in Houston so I decided to update the blog to not disappoint all of our readers out there. As she has previously mentioned, Jenn has really started to like gardening, and to the surprise of both of us has really done a great job so far.

Right around the time of Lilly's passing some green leafs started to grow in our flowerbeds. Someone told us they were Day Lillies and that they would bloom during the spring. We didn't plant them, and don't know that much about gardens, but obviously we have really been wanting them to bloom. Well over the past week they have bloomed and are beautiful. We are pretty sure they are a little sorry card from God and we are very grateful for them.

I attached some pictures just for those of you that know that until this spring we have been pretty black thumbs. We are pretty sure the tides have turned though. Good job on the garden honey.

Goodbye to our Sweet Lilly

It is with eyes full of tears that we write this final post for our dear baby Lilly.

Lilly went to be with Jesus on Monday March 3, 2008. She was taking a nap that afternoon and never woke up. Even now we still struggle for answers, but with each day things get a little easier. The last week has seemed like an eternity, but also like a dream. We will miss her terribly and struggle to find the meaning in each day.

The prayers and words of support have been wonderful though. We could not believe the flowers, cards, food, and outpouring of love that we received. If we can have one prayer, it would that Lilly's life be a testimony of Love and that we can survive this tragedy with Grace that only God can give us, and find a way to turn this tragedy into something that can give him glory.

Thank you to everyone for their love and continued prayers. We can feel them all around us and they truly do help. We are leaning on each other and have found renewed love and life in that.

Good bye sweet Lilly. Your Mommy and Daddy will love you forever and look foward to the day we are all together again.

Baby Chloe is Here!

Lilly's best friend, Chloe, is FINALLY here! Her Mom, Sherry, did such a great job and Mom and baby are both happy and healthy. We are so excited to raise our girls together!

Here is all 6 of us the day Chloe was born. She was 9lbs!

Lilly and Chloe's first picture together. Lilly can't wait until Chloe is ready to play with her!
Beautiful Mom and baby! Welcome to the world Chloe!

Mommy Daughter Trip to Amarillo

Lilly and I flew to Amarillo for some rest and relaxation. It was a great weekend and Gammy and Poppy really spoiled us!

Gammy has a new puppet named "Angelina." (The name came from her lips.) It took Lilly some time to warm up to Angelina, but they have bonded now.

Here is Lilly in a photo shoot with Gammy.

Lilly and Poppy took a nap together. Too cute!

Lilly plays with the baby in the mirror. She thinks that baby is so cute!

Gammy and Poppy play the piano and sing for Lilly. She loves to hear the piano!
Thank you Mom and Dad for a great weekend, it was so special to us!

Month 3

I am 3 months old already! My how time flies! We are having so much...here are some of our adventures for the last month:

I love hanging out in my Bumbo Chair, it makes me feel so big!

Here are Lola and I hanging out. We decided we didn't want our picture taken anymore. We were having fun though!

Michelle and Bennet came to visit! It was so much fun!

Aunt Cyndi came to visit too. This is me laughing at her. I couldn't decide if she was crazy or just really funny! Aren't we cute ball cap/velour chicks?

I needed a nap after my guests left.

My new friend Baby Ian was born on 2/7/09. Welcome to the World Ian, I am so excited for us to play!

Here are me and my Mom. I definately have my Dad's eyes in this one!

Month 2

I am two months old now and what an adventure it has been! For my two month old birthday, I had to get shots. OUCH! Keep the Tylenol coming Mom. Other than that, it has been a pretty good month. Here are some pictures from some of my adventures...

Here is me in my favorite hat! Mom and Jamie play guitar hero.

Bailey and Wrigley in their new outfits. A Happy Birthday smile for my Mom!

This is me grabbing my toy for the first time. This made my parents really excited for some reason...
I am growing fast and loving life! I weighed 12 pounds 3 oz. at my doctor's appointment today, but don't tell anyone! My goals for month 3 are to roll over, keep my paci from falling out of my mouth, and try to enjoy Tummy Time more.

Sherry and Chloe's Shower

Mom and I hosted a shower for Sherry and my soon to be best friend Chloe. It was so much fun!

Sherry and the Grandmothers (Wilma and Pam)

Chloe's adorable cake!

Holly, Sophia, and Lola came to play too!

My Grandparents!

I love you all very much. Thanks for spoiling me. Here are some of my favorite moments with you all.

Chirstmas, Christmas, Christmas

Mom, Dad and I packed everything up in the family station wagon and headed to Amarillo to spend Christmas with Gammy, Poppy, Grancy, Pops, Uncle Sam, Aunt Mandy, Aunt Chelsi, Uncle Beau, Aunt Michelle and Cousin Bennett. It was really great. I don't really remember much about Christmas, but of course I got some new great stuff. I was pretty wore out most of the time, but I made my rounds and saw everyone I could. Check out my photos with everyone below.

Month 1 looking back.

I can't believe it has been a month already. Mom, Dad and I have had so many adventures already, and I can't wait to have some more. Here are some photos below of whats been happening.

I love my Einstein mat, I spend some time on it each day. Dad thinks it will make me smart, but little does he know it kind of overwhelms me and makes me not want to sleep.

This is me getting all ready for a walk with Mom. Walks are pretty much my favorite thing to do right now, me and mom really like them.

My first dinner date. Mom, Dad and I took our first dinner date out, just the three of us. To our favorite, Dos Rios tex mex grill. We shared fajitas, but not queso :( My tummy doesn't seem
to like milk much.

Thanksgiving Day

Mom, Dad and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We took a car outing to Boston Market. We got a delcious turkey meal with sides and pumpkin pie. We had a great day, watched the Cowboys, and chilled around the house.

AGS Win! 38 - 30

Well in case anyone is surprised, the Aggies beat the longhorns and Dad and I watched the whole game. Coach Franchione stepped down after the game. Dad and I have really been watching texags close to see who is going to be our next coach. I'm looking forward to our bowl game. Gig'em Ags.

First Week in Review

Hi everyone. Well as of today I have officially been around for one week. Things have been going pretty well. Grancy has been around taking care of me and helping my parents out, thanks Grancy. I went to the pediatrician this week as well. Other than going to the bathroom on Dad, I got a great report as I'm already 4 oz. above my birth weight. If you click the week in review above it should take you to all of my pictures on snapfish (try link below as well). Mainly I'm hanging around the house sleeping and eating. I did make a quick trip to Scholtzky's with Mom and Dad. For Thanksgiving we don't have any big plans, Heather and Paul are coming over, and then on Friday I'm cheering for my Aggies against tu. I will talk to everyone later.
